Waterloo, IA – On the nation’s birthday, the Bucks (1-1) dropped the final game of the series with the Bullfrogs (1-1) in another 3-2 pitchers duel.
Pitcher Scott Williams (UW-Stevens Point) drops to 2-3 as he took the loss on the mound after allowing three runs off seven hits and two walks in 7.2 innings of work. Improving to 2-0, Bullfrogs pitcher Brent Ebinger (Lambuth) held the Bucks to two runs off five hits and three walks in 5.0 innings.
Bucks right fielder Jason Krizan (Dallas Baptist) led the way at the plate, going one for one with two walks and an RBI. Phil Keppler (Iowa) and Tyler Robbins (Des Moines Area CC) added two hits apiece in the losing effort.
