GREEN BAY- It was a three-run home run shot by the Green Bay Bullfrogs in the first that set the pace Sunday night as the Waterloo Bucks fell 8-4.

 

The Bucks offense racked up twelve hits for the night, with shortstop Michael Giller leading the team with three hits. Troy White brought in the first run of the night from his double in the top of the fifth inning. The Bucks would bring two more runs in on the set from singles by Willie Argo and Kevin Wager.

 

The Bucks would attempt to make a comeback in the eighth inning as Zach McCool brought in Michael Giller to score, but it was short lived. Right-handed thrower Jarod Wagoner pitched over four innings, and got the loss for the night.

 

Waterloo stays in Green Bay tonight for a 7:05 match-up with the Bullfrogs. They return home to Riverfront Stadium for a two game set Wednesday and Thursday against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. Wednesday features an afternoon game at 1:05, and is Daycare, Mascot and Skip Work Day.
