The Waterloo Bucks sent the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters home with another loss. Bucks were strong at the plate and in the filed lead to a 6-0 win by Zach Cooper.

Cooper took charge in his eight innings pitched striking out five and walking only one batter.  Out of the four hits given up, no runs scored bringing Cooper’s current ERA to 3.77.  Relief pitcher Luke Putz threw one inning with one strikeout to close the game.

In the field the Bucks were on fire.  SS Chase Jaramillo made a jumping catch on a line drive for the third out in the fifth inning.  Behind the plate, C Jeremy Lucas caught two runners stealing on the bases.   The Bucks did have a couple hiccups, recording two errors on the night.

At the plate, the Bucks cranked out eleven hits, bringing our six runs to score.  CF Willie Argo (pictured) went two-for-three at the plate, and earning two runs.  SS Zach McCool, 1B Ryan Rieger and 2B Ellis Lowe all had doubles tonight.  RF Landon Anderson, C Jeremy Lucas, CF Willie Argo all had two hits.  Jaramillo lead the team with three RBIs off of one hit, scoring two runs of his own.

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters pitcher Matt Baudino was credited with the loss.

July 12 the Bucks head to Green Bay to take on the Bullfrogs in a two games series at Joannes Stadium.  The Bucks will return home on Friday, July 16 to face the Madison Mallards.
