Battle Creek, Michigan – Thursday’s Northwoods League game between the Waterloo Bucks and the Battle Creek Bombers, scheduled for a 6:05 pm CT start in Battle Creek, Michigan, has been rained out. The teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on Friday, June 23. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 5:05 pm CT. The teams will play two seven-inning games.
The doubleheader will be broadcast live on Brite 95.3 KQMG, with an abbreviated pre-game show beginning at 4:35 pm with radio announcer Brandon Lewis. The games may also be viewed via webcast through the Northwoods League website (www.northwoodsleague.com).
The Bucks (3-7, 22-23) will return to Waterloo to begin a two-game series on Saturday, July 24 as they host the Wisconsin Woodchucks. Game time is scheduled for 6:35 pm CT with gates opening at 5:00 pm CT. Happy Hour, featuring $2 draws, will run until 6:00 pm CT and it will be Crossroads Center and College Student 3-2-1 Special Night. Tickets are available from Crossroads and fans who present a valid college I.D. will receive $3 off a ticket, a $2 beverage, and a $1 popcorn. The first 500 fans will receive a coozie powered by Great Clips.
