This week we are catching up with former Waterloo Buck, Ben Humphrey. Ben Humphrey played for the Waterloo Bucks in the 2006 season as a first baseman.

During collge he transfered from Olney Central CC to Central Michigan University where he cracked the CMU single-season top-ten lists for RBI, triples, home runs, and extra base hits his first season. During his time playing for Central Michigan University, he also set a new CMU record with 72 runs batted in and posted 20 multi-hit games and a team-leading 19 multi-RBI games.

In 2007 the Tampa Bay Devil Rays signed Benjamin Humphrey as the team’s 28th-round draft pick.
