1. When did you start announcing?

— I started announcing full time in 1986, mainly at Waterloo Greyhound Park. I announced there from 1986 to 1994 and I started in radio in 1991.

2.  How long have you been with the Waterloo Bucks?

–I did some filling-in in 1995 and started officially with the Bucks in 1996.

3.  What other radio annoucing do you do outside the Bucks?

–I am the FM news and sports director for Cumulus Radio Group and I do play-by-play for KDAO radio

4. What’s the biggest challenge for you when announcing?

–The most challenging thing is announcing for games on major promotion nights because I have to work in required announcements along with the prizes from the advertisers. It’s especially hard during a quick game. 

5.  What’s your favorite thing to eat at the ballpark?

–Hot dogs, of course.
