Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, have announced that Connor McClain has been named the Young Plumbing & Heating Bucks Player of the Week. McClain is a Waterloo, IA native and is currently attending Indiana State University.

McClain has played in four of the first five games here for the Bucks. In these games, he has hit for a batting average of .500 (4th in the league), an on-base percentage of .563, and has slugged .643. He also has one triple on the season, has scored two runs, and is leading the Bucks in RBIs with five on the season, hitting .500 with runners in scoring position. He has done especially well against righties, hitting .667 against them.

The Bucks next home game is tonight against the St. Cloud Rox, the first of a two game series. First pitch is set for 6:35 pm and the gates will open at 5:30 pm.
