The Bucks took care of business on Wednesday, shutting down the Honkers in a 7-0 win. This win gave the Bucks a sweep of the Honkers and puts them at 5-0 against them this season. This win also ended a two game home losing streak. The pitching shut down the Honkers all game as the Bucks got a great home debut from Micah Bryan. The Bucks offense was sluggish for most of the game but broke out in the 8^th inning for five runs to put the game out of reach for the Honkers.

The game started off as a pitcher’s duel, with neither team yielding a run until the 6^th inning, when the Bucks got on the board. Thomas Lindauer started it off with a single and was able to steal second. Benny Roberts drove him in with a triple and Kevin Kaczmarski followed that up with a RBI single to make the score 2-0.

With the game still close in the 8^th inning, the Bucks offense exploded and put the game out of reach. Kaczmarski walked and Borman singled to put runners on first and second. Lindauer and Connor McClain both walked next to score one run. With the bases still loaded, Riley Good hit a bases clearing triple, putting them up 6-0. The red hot Pete Leonello drove Good in with a RBI double to finish up the scoring for the Bucks and giving them a 7-0 lead.

 The Bucks pitching was excellent all game. Micah Bryan got the start and shut down the Honkers, taking a no-hitter into the 6^th inning before a bunt single broke it up. Bryan ended up going seven innings with five strikeouts and four walks, giving up no runs. The bullpen finished the job out for the Bucks, with Jordan Milbrath and Ryan Doty each pitching a scoreless inning to finish out the Bucks first shutout of the season.
