 Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, have announced that Connor McClain has been named the Young Plumbing & Heating Bucks Player of the Week. This is the second week in a row that the Waterloo, IA native has earned the award. He currently attends Indiana State University. 

In the last week, McClain played six games and hit for an average of .429. In the nine hits he recorded, he had one home run and three doubles to put together a slugging percentage of .714. He had five walks also to record an on-base percentage of .538. He drove in six runs and scored four more.

The Bucks concluded their season on Sunday when their final game was canceled due to rain. The blue and yellow finished the season with a record of 34-35. We would like to thank all of our fans and business partners for a great season and look forward to a great 2013 season.
