Waterloo, IA – The Northwoods League has named Waterloo Bucks catcher/infielder Jake Mahon the league’s Player of the Night for his efforts in Waterloo’s dramatic 10-9 win over the Thunder Bay Border Cats on Sunday afternoon. Mahon (pronounced MAY-haughn), a University of Evansville product, drove in the winning run in the 10th inning with a single to right field. On the game, Mahon went 1-for-3, driving in three runs. On the season, the Plain City, Ohio native is hitting .349 with eight RBI.
