Waterloo, IA – The Northwoods League has named Waterloo Bucks outfielder David Kerian the league’s Player of the Night for his efforts in Waterloo’s 15-3 win over the Rochester Honkers on Saturday night. Kerian went four-for-five at the plate with two home runs, three runs scored, and four RBI. On the season, the University of Illinois product is hitting .324 with four home runs. A native of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, Kerian has 29 RBI to go along with an OPS of .846.
The Bucks finish up a three-game road trip in Rochester today, as they play the Honkers at 1:05 pm. After the All-Star break, three consecutive off-days starting on Monday, the Bucks hit the road again to face the Mankato MoonDogs on Thursday, July 25 before returning home on Saturday, July 27.
