Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks have announced that the Riverfront Stadium parking lot will be open for public use during the remainder of their homestand.  Park Road, the only direct access to Riverfront Stadium, was closed due to the Cedar River flooding, but is now open on the southeast side of the stadium.  Fans that are planning on attending this week’s games are encouraged to travel to Riverfront Stadium by accessing Park Road at the intersection of Park and Fairview Avenue or Park and Broadway Street.

Thursday’s game will begin at 6:35 pm with gates opening at 5:30 pm as Waterloo takes on Eau Claire.  Friday features a doubleheader versus the Rochester Honkers which will start at 6:05 pm and feature two seven-inning games.

Flooding from the Cedar River crested in the early-morning hours of Wednesday at 16.83 feet.  The field and stadium were not in danger.

After this homestand the Bucks travel to Rochester on July 5 for a one-game roadtrip before returning home for a two-game set versus the Mankato MoonDogs on July 6.  For more information, call the Bucks’ Ticket Line at (319) 232-5633.  All 72 games may be heard on 1330 AM ESPN (KWLO).  Fans are encouraged to stay in touch with the Bucks during the season by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com.
