Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks have announced they will be holding their 2016 Meet the Bucks event on Sunday, May 29 at Pepper’s Grill and Sports Pub in Cedar Falls, Iowa.  The event, which is open to all members of the general public, will begin at 6:30 pm.

Meet the Bucks will provide a chance for fans to meet and interact with the Bucks’ players, coaches, and front office staff.  Pepper’s, a longtime partner of the Bucks, is located at 620 East 18th Street in Cedar Falls.

This year’s format will be emceed by Bucks radio announcer Jared Shlensky and feature opening statements by Bucks general manager Dan Corbin and field manager Scott Douglas followed by a question and answer session with Bucks front office, coaches, and players. 

The Bucks play at Riverfront Stadium where the team welcomed a new state of the art video board in 2016 thanks to a matching grant from the Black Hawk County Gaming Association.  Team ownership has invested more than $170,000 in improvements since the end of the 2014 season including painted bleachers, public Wi-Fi, sound system, group outing areas, and concessions equipment.  Season tickets and group outings are currently on sale by calling the Bucks’ Ticket Line at (319) 232-5633.  Fans are encouraged to stay in touch during the off-season with the Bucks by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com or utilizing the Waterloo Bucks app.
