Waterloo beats St. Cloud to split the series with the Rox, winning 6-2.

St. Cloud got on the board first with an RBI ground out from Garett Delano to plate Ben Norman. The Bucks countered a four spot in the bottom of the first including a three run homer from Jalen Smith to put Waterloo up 4-1.

Drew Bianco added a homer in the second and the Bucks tacked on one more in the third to go in front 6-1. St. Cloud scored a run in the fifth to close the gap to 6-2 on an RBI single from Nick Marinconz.

In the bottom of the seventh, rain came to fall and didn’t stop in the Cedar Valley. The game was ruled official in the seventh with Waterloo ruled winners in a 6-2 game.

Bucks are back at it tomorrow in Rochester to start a two-game set. The Bucks will host the Honkers on Thursday to cap that series.
