Thunder Bay, ON – The Waterloo Bucks (8–16) Bucks lost their fourth consecutive game against the Thunder Bay Border Cats (12–8), 5–4

The Bucks went up early with a pair of runs in the first innings, but the Border Cats scored three runs across the next two innings to reclaim the lead. The Bucks pulled ahead again with two runs in the top of the fourth, but the Border Cats matched that total in the bottom of the inning with what would be the final two runs scored in the game.

Greg Nichols, Cortlan Castle and Marcus Heusohn led the way offensively for the Bucks, all going 3-for-5 at the plate. Castle and Heusohn scored three runs between the two of them while Nichols recorded two RBIs.

The Bucks will now travel three hours south to play a two-game series agains the Duluth Huskies. The first game for that series is set for 6:35 p.m. on Thursday.
