Waterloo, IA – In Waterloo’s first game back since their four-game road trip, the Bucks fall in game one to the La Crosse Loggers with a score of 6-3.

The Loggers scored right away, by putting up two runs in the top of the first inning by a sacrifice fly and a fielder’s choice. La Crosse scored all of their six runs in the first five innings of the game, and five total before the Bucks.

Waterloo got two runs back in the bottom of the fourth thanks to a two-run shot off the bat of third baseman Brennan Hudson.

With that homerun, it is Hudson’s second home run of the season, first at home for Waterloo and second in as many days.

La Crosse scored their final run in the fifth inning off of a sacrifice fly from outfielder Luke Anderson

The Bucks bullpen was locked in from inning four onward in a by-committee showing from Ethan Alexander, Chaney Trout, and Andrew Dusablon.

The Bucks play game two tomorrow against the Loggers with the first pitch scheduled for 6:35 PM.
