Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks add seven players new and returning faces to the 2024 roster: RHP Gannon Archer (Iowa), INF Chase Beattie (Saint Louis University), OF Lucas Moore (Louisville), INF Kooper Schulte (Southeastern CC), RHP Chaney Trout (Eastern Illinois), RHP Brock Turkington (Ripon College), and INF Ben Wilmes (Iowa).

Of the seven Bucks being added, Chaney Trout and Ben Wilmes are returners from the 2023 Bucks roster. Trout finished the 2023 summer as a main bullpen piece with a 3.38 ERA and 18Ks in 22 appearances covering 21.1 IP. Wilmes hit at a .293AVG over 27 games while also legging out 10 doubles, 10 stolen bases, and 22 walks.

Turkington spent his 2023 as a member of the Wausau Woodchucks in the Great Lakes West and finished the summer appearing in 11 games with a 3.20 ERA and striking out 18.
