Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks waived left-handed pitcher Isiah Byrkeland and added four new players for the weekend series against the Rochester Honkers: INF Ian Halverson (Palomar College), LHP Jay Kennedy (Southeastern CC), RHP/INF Sam Skarich (Southeastern CC) and OF Christian Smith (Illinois).

Byrkeland, out of Iowa Central CC, finished his tenure with a 5.40 ERA and a 1-1 W/L in three appearances out of the bullpen.

Of the newly added players, Sam Skarich and Christian Smith are returners from the 2023 Waterloo Bucks team that ended with a 37-31 record.
