Waterloo, IA – Game One of the final homestand of the 2024 season between the Bucks and the Huskies went the way of the first-place Duluth squad by a score of 14-2.
Duluth scored first in the fifth inning with three runs and proceeded to score in every offensive inning after that point until the ninth inning.
The Bucks scored on two separate occasions. One in the bottom of the sixth on a sacrifice fly from Charlie Bogue (Wisconsin-Whitewater), and then in the ninth inning on a Christian Smith (Illinois) solo home run.
The Bucks face the Huskies tomorrow for the final home game of the 2024 season with the first pitch set for 5:05 PM.
