Duluth, MN – The Waterloo Bucks lose a close game to the Duluth Huskies as the Duluth looks to continue fighting towards the playoffs after their 3-1 victory.
Duluth scored on two separate occasions, their first run came in the bottom of the fourth on a wild pitch and their final two runs came in the bottom of the eighth inning on a base-loaded hit-by-pitch followed by a sacrifice fly.
The Bucks scored the only run in the top of the eighth inning on an error that allowed Cole Smith (Southeastern CC) to score after he and Marcus Heusohn (UIC) successfully performed a double steal.
The final game between the Bucks and Huskies is tomorrow at Wade Stadium. Catch the first pitch on ESPN+ at 6:35 PM.
