Waterloo bounced back from its 3-2 walk-off loss last night at Mankato with a 20-3 beatdown of the MoonDogs at home.

The Bucks struck first with an RBI single from Jalen Smith. Mankato took the lead 2-1 in the second with a two-RBI single from Michael Curriale.

The Bucks would tally 19 more runs to only one for Mankato and go on to win 20-3. Cameron Thompson went 5-for-6 with a walk, five runs scored, and two RBI.

Duncan Davitt had a strong start for Waterloo with four innings and two earned runs. Gavin Lizik picked up the win for Waterloo and Tyler Theriot took the loss for Mankato.

The Bucks are back in action tomorrow afternoon against the Willmar Stingers for game two of a four game homestand.
