Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks have announced four more players will be joining the roster this season. Jalen Martinez, a two-way player out of Iowa Central Community College, will sign a temporary contract. Alec Patino out of Iowa Western Community College will also sign a temporary contract with the Bucks. Patino played in the Prospect League last summer for the Quincy Gems averaging .235 with 14 RBIs. Two returnees are included in this batch of signees including Hawai’i pitcher Cameron Hagan. Hagan pitched in 12 games with the Bucks last summer, starting three. He compiled a 3-1 record with a 3.52 ERA. Also returning to Waterloo this summer is left-handed pitcher Dylan Gotto out of Wartburg College. Gotto returns for a third straight season with the Bucks, last season Gotto only pitched in three games, starting two. He compiled a 1-1 record with a 2.61 ERA. The Bucks open their season on Memorial Day, May 30th against the St. Cloud Rox at Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium. First pitch is at 2:35 p.m.
