Duluth, MN – Despite entering the bottom of the ninth with a two-run lead, the Waterloo Bucks gave up three runs to lose the game to the Huskies, 6–5
Brandon Compton was responsible for the game-winning run, shooting a single up the middle into center field to record his only RBI of the night.
The weather might have played a factor as the rainy conditions, which were evident throughout the evening, immediately worsened once the bottom of the ninth arrived.
The Bucks will get a two-day break before returning to play at home against the La Crosse Loggers. First pitch for the first game on Monday is slated for 6:35 p.m.
