Mankato, MN – The Waterloo Bucks (27–25) won the second game of their series against the Mankato MoonDogs (29–22) on Friday night, 6–3. This is the second time this season the Bucks have split a series against the MoonDogs on the road.

Bucks starting pitcher Aaron Savary put up a gem in a start that happened to fall on his birthday, pitching 7.0 innings while giving up just two earned runs and striking out nine batters.

Marcus Heusohn and Drew Donaldson led the way for the Bucks batting order, both recording two hits each and combining for three runs. The Bucks got RBI knocks from Greg Nichols, Will Marcy and Max Shor.

The Bucks will now head to Rochester for the final game of the their three game road trip against the Honkers. First pitch for that game is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. on Saturday night.
