Rochester, MN – The Waterloo Bucks win an extra-inning thriller, 10-9 in eleven innings while Darrell Handelsman collects his 800th career win.

The Bucks offense kept on chugging along scoring 10 runs overall with many the first coming off the bat of INF Chase Beattie in the top of the second which was his first of the season and the game. The hot bats would continue into the fourth inning when the Bucks put up four more runs with two runs coming off of a 2-RBI double from first baseman Marcus Heusohn.

Rochester answers back with seven runs between the fifth and eighth innings. The Bucks bats had been in this spot in the first game and answered back similarly. The Bucks posted three more runs in the top of the ninth inning with two runs coming off of a huge 2-RBI double from center fielder Lucas Moore.

From the top of the ninth until the top of the eleventh, zeroes were posted in thanks to incredible defense and backend bullpen pitching.
In the top of the eleventh, left fielder Larry Edwards Jr scores second baseman Even Morrison on an infield single and an E3 from the Honkers infield.

Chaney Trout closed out the game with his second save of the summer as the Bucks won game two of the home-and-home.

Catch the Bucks back in action tomorrow at Riverfront Stadium as they face the Eau Claire Express for a two-game homestead.
