Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, have announced that Connor McClain has been named the Young Plumbing & Heating Bucks Player of the Week. This is the first time he has received the honor this season. McClain is a Waterloo, IA native and is currently attending Indiana State University.


McClain appeared in six games for the Bucks over the last week and 
hit a tremendous .400 with seven RBI and four runs scored. In the eight hits he recorded, two of them were doubles. He also walked eight times and only struck out four times in the 26 total plate appearances. This performance helped him put together an on-base percentage of .538 and an OPS of 1.038.

The Bucks start a five-game series at St. Cloud today with first pitch set for 7:05 pm all five games. The blue and yellow will then return home on Saturday for the final two games of the regular season against the Mankato MoonDogs.
