Duluth, MN –  Caleb Seibers led the Bucks offense in a 2-2 effort with two RBIs as Max Collins and the bullpen took over from there in an 8-1 victory in game two, as Waterloo came into Duluth and swept the Huskies in two games.

After scoring first in game one, the Bucks took an early lead in the top of the second Saturday afternoon in game two. Two hit by pitches to MJ Sweeney and Caleb Seibers, and a walk to Caleb Parker loaded the bases, and a wild pitch opened the door for MJ Sweeney to run to score to make it 1-0 Waterloo.

In the top of the third, the Bucks added another run. Mycah Jordan led off with a single, then stole second. After moving up to third on a groundout, Jordan scampered home on a wild pitch to grow the lead to 2-0.

That was all Max Collins needed. The Bucks starter went five strong innings, gave up just one run, and struck out five en route to his first win of the year.

In the bottom of the third inning, Duluth got that run back. A George McIntyre doubled with one out in the inning, then with two outs, Blake Eckerle floated a single into center to bring McIntyre in to score to cut the lead to 2-1. 

In the top of fourth, Waterloo put one more run on the board. Zach Davis walked with one out, then Caleb Parker worked a walk. With two down, Seibers came through with an RBI single to left that brought 

In the top of the fifth, the Bucks widened the gap. A two out double in front of two walks loaded the bases before Caleb Parker was hit by a pitch to bring a run in to make it 4-1. One batter later, George Baker blooped a single to left to move everybody up 90 feet to extend the advantage to 5-1. Finally, Seibers was hit by a pitch to push in one more run to open up the lead, 6-1.

The Bucks added a pair of runs late in the game as Waterloo completed a sweep of the Huskies, 8-1 on Saturday afternoon. 

With the win, the Bucks go to 13-19 on the season and 3-1 against Duluth. The Bucks next matchup is against Rochester back home at Riverfront Stadium. Game one is slated for 3:35 pm Sunday afternoon. Both starters in the game are TBD.
