Bucks Fans . . . help select the Bucks 20th Season Fan Favorite Team.  This week’s vote:  Field Manager.

Choose from the following selections to pick your favorite Bucks Field Manager over the past 20 years:

  • Darrell Handelsman (1999-2002) – 160-108 (.597) overall record; 7-8 (.467) post-season record; 2002 NWL Champion; two-time NWL Manager of the Year (2000 & 2001)
  • Travis Kiewiet (2012-2013) – 85054 (.612) overall record; 0-2 post-season record; 2013 NWL Manager of the Year
  • Eric Snider (1995-1998) – 158-87 (.645) overall record; 3-4 (.429) post-season record; 1996 NWL Champion; two-time NWL Manager of the Year (1996 & 1997); Bucks Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee (2006)

Let your voice be heard and vote on the Bucks’ Facebook or Twitter page, or e-mail the Bucks at fanfavorite@waterloobucks.com.  Voting ends 11:59 pm CT on Tuesday, January 21.

 

Each Wednesday, between now and Waterloo’s Home Opener on May 28, the Bucks are allowing fans to vote for their favorite players or managers in the efforts to create the “Bucks 20th Season Fan Favorite Team.”  Using their Facebook, Twitter, and website platforms, the Bucks will announce a list of nominees at a certain position.  Fans will have until 11:59 pm CT each Tuesday to vote for their choice.  After voting is complete, the Bucks will announce the fan favorite at that position.

The 20-person Fan Favorite team will consist of the following:

  • Field Manager
  • Catcher
  • First Baseman
  • Second Baseman
  • Third Baseman
  • Shortstop
  • Outfielder
  • Outfielder
  • Outfielder
  • Right-handed Starting Pitcher
  • Right-handed Starting Pitcher
  • Right-handed Starting Pitcher
  • Left-handed Starting Pitcher
  • Left-handed Starting Pitcher
  • Left-handed Starting Pitcher
  • Closer
  • Closer
  • Extra Infielder
  • Extra Outfielder
  • Extra Player

 

Fans will also have the opportunity to nominate players at any position by e-mailing the Bucks at fanfavorite@waterloobucks.com.  The Bucks will announce other 20th season celebrations in the near future.
