The Bucks offense was hard to find on Wednesday night, but pitching kept the team in it long enough for the offense to finally do some damage and muster a victory. Unfortunately that same offense appeared (or disappeared) Thursday night, and the pitching could not hold up it's end, leading to an ugly defeat.
 

A fifth inning surge from the Express was all that was needed, as they scored the eventual game winning runs in that inning. Eau Claire managed to load the bases with no outs, and Peter Van Gansen knocked in the tying run with a single. An error by David Kerian allowed another run to score, which would be the game winner. The Expess tacked another run on in the same inning, en route to a 6-1 victory. 

CJ Eldred was rewarded by his teammates after the game with a water cooler shower, and he certainly earned it. Eldred allowed five hits and one run, going nine brilliant innings. He threw only 78 pitches, not surprising considering that he had only one strikeout and no walks. The Bucks swung at everything that Eldred threw. 

The Bucks will try to find their offense Friday night as they host a double header against te Rochester Honkers as part of the Scheels Highway 63 Cup. Adam Bray takes the mound for the first game, followed by Tim Shannon in the second game.
