An internship is a must-do for anyone who is passionate about working in sports. Interns will experience the inner-workings of a successful baseball organization, lend a hand in the team’s continuous growth, and assist with all of the games/events we host this season.
The Bucks operate Riverfront Stadium, which is a beautiful, 2,512-seat facility located in Waterloo, Iowa. Along with Northwoods League games, Riverfront Stadium is used April through October for many other activities including high school games and tournaments, little league games, and other non-baseball events.
Individuals who have participated in internships with the Bucks have gone on to careers in the sports industry. As of October of 2025, former Waterloo Bucks interns were employed with the following organizations in the sports industry:
Atlanta United FC ♦ Cedar Valley Soccer Club ♦ Cincinnati Bengals ♦ Cleveland Guardians ♦ Cedar Rapids Kernels ♦ Dayton Dragons ♦ Drake University ♦ FantasyPoints.com ♦ Huntington Bank Stadium ♦ Iowa Cubs ♦ Iowa Heartlanders ♦ Miami Dolphins & Hard Rock Stadium ♦ Minnesota Lynx ♦ Minnesota Twins ♦ North Dakota State University Bison ♦ Ohio State University ♦ PGA Tour ♦ Quad City River Bandits ♦ San Antonio Spurs ♦ San Jose Sharks ♦ Texoma FC ♦ Topgolf Des Moines ♦ Tulsa Drillers ♦ University of Central Missouri ♦ University of Minnesota ♦ University of Missouri & Learfield ♦ University of Northern Iowa ♦ University of Mississippi ♦ Wayne State University
