Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks are inviting fans to The Other Place on Ridgeway Avenue on Monday, June 29 for Tip-A-Buck. Starting at 6:00 pm, Bucks players and coaches will act as waiters, serving customers drinks and dinner throughout the evening.
Each table will have a "tip" envelope, where all tips for the Bucks wait staff will go to the Bucks Summer Reading Program. Fans will also have chances to win autographed baseballs, an autographed bat, and other Bucks items through a raffle.
With the support of Upper Iowa University Waterloo Center and Perkins, the Waterloo Bucks Summer Reading Program will be encouraging reading throughout the summer in the Cedar Valley. Prizes this year include a game ticket, a free play pass in the Waterloo Bucks Kid Zone presented by KT's Indoor Inflatable Park, a free kids meal from Perkins (with purchase of an adult entree), a Waterloo Bucks lanyard, and a Waterloo Bucks drawstring bag.
