Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks are seeking nominations for their second annual All-Star Educator team. The Bucks will be honoring 10 educators during their June 1st game versus the Rochester Honkers as part of their Educator Appreciation Night festivities.
Educators who are chosen will not only be honored on the field but will also receive four tickets to that game and a customized Bucks All-Star Educator jersey. That day, the Bucks take on the Honkers at 6:35 pm. Tickets to the game will be available starting May 1st.
Nominations for the All-Star Educator team will be taken until April 12th. Nomination forms can be accessed by visiting the Waterloo Bucks offices during normal business hours or online at www.waterloobucks.com. To give all educators the opportunity to be honored as an All-Star Educator, we ask that those educators selected in 2018 not be nominated.

All Bucks home games are played at Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium which will host the 2019 Northwoods League All-Star Game. The ballpark welcomed a new state of the art video board in 2016 thanks to a matching grant from the Black Hawk County Gaming Association. Team ownership has invested more than $300,000 in improvements since the end of the 2014 season including painted bleachers, public Wi-Fi, sound system, group outing areas, kids zone inflatables, and concessions equipment.
