THE STARS ALIGN IN BISMARCK
For the first time in Larks history, we’re hosting Home Run Challenge and All-Star Game.
The 2023 All-Star Game and Home Run Challenge presented by H.A. Thompson & Sons will take place on July 31 and August 1 at Bismarck Municipal Ballpark Home of Dakota Community Bank & Trust Field.
In celebration of the 30th Northwoods League season, each division will be hosting an All-Star Game in 2023. Bismarck was selected as the location to host the Great Plains Division Home Run Challenge & All-Star Game.
HOME RUN CHALLENGE – JULY 31
The home run challenge will feature a nine-inning competition with the top home run hitters from the Great Plains Division.
Each player will receive 2 minutes & 30 seconds to hit as many home runs as they can.
The individual who hits the most home runs will be declared the NWL HR Challenge Individual Champion.
A dueling pianos show featuring Fun Pianos! will follow the Home Run Challenge presented by H.A. Thompson & Sons. (Check out the FUN and what to expect from Dueling Pianos)
TIMELINE
5:30 – 7PM: Gates Open & Fan Fest presented by H.A. Thompson & Sons
6:30 – 7PM – All-Star Introductions
7:05 – 9:30PM – Home Run Challenge presented by H.A. Thompson & Sons
9:30 – 10:30PM – Dueling Pianos Performed by Fun Pianos
All-STAR GAME – AUGUST 1
The Northwoods League All-Star Game annually celebrates the top talent from the world’s largest organized baseball league. A fan-favorite, bringing together the best of the best among elite college players, the All-Star Game also provides a valuable opportunity for these student-athletes to play in front of Major League scouts.
Players are selected by a league-wide vote of coaches and media members, with each team having at least one representative.
A post-game firework show will take place following the All-Star Game presented by H.A. Thompson & Sons.
