Bismarck, ND – The Bismarck Larks are excited to introduce the newest additions to our roster powered by Frontier Precision for the upcoming season! These talented newcomers are ready to bring their skills to the field and help power the Larks through another thrilling summer of Northwoods League baseball.

Ryan Radkey; Pitcher the senior at the University of Jamestown, hailing from Albany, California, has become a cornerstone of the Jimmies’ pitching staff. In his junior year, Radkey demonstrated exceptional control and resilience on the mound, achieving a 3.86 ERA over 56 innings pitched. He struck out 37 batters while issuing only 11 walks, underscoring his precision and poise under pressure. Radkey’s journey from the West Coast to North Dakota exemplifies his dedication to the sport, inspiring both teammates and fans alike.

Zach Arnold; Pitcher a talented left-handed pitcher from Cedarville, Illinois! As a freshman at Clarke University, Zach is eager to make his mark on the mound with his impressive command and competitive edge. Known for his smooth delivery and ability to keep hitters off balance, he’s ready to bring his skills to the Larks this season. Keep an eye on Zach as he takes the field and strengthens the Larks’ pitching staff this summer!

Carson Luna; Infielder, the freshman at the University of Texas, arrives from one of the nation’s most competitive high school baseball programs, bringing a strong track record of success. A standout performer in his final high school season, Luna posted an impressive .381 batting average, belted four home runs, and drove in 19 RBIs, showcasing his ability to produce in clutch moments. As a senior, he took on the role of team captain, leading the Mavericks to their first championship title since 1991—a testament to his leadership, determination, and ability to elevate those around him. Now stepping onto the collegiate stage, Luna is poised to make an immediate impact, bringing his defensive prowess, offensive firepower, and winning mentality to the Longhorns

Jan Avila; Infielder, the junior at Rutgers University coming from a strong Big Ten program, Avila brings elite defensive skills and power at the plate. Known for his hustle and leadership, he’s a versatile player capable of making big plays. Before joining Rutgers, Avila was a two-year starter at Amarillo College in the JUCO ranks. During his sophomore year, he showcased his talent by playing in 51 games and earning Honorable Mention All-WJCAC honors. He posted an impressive slash line of .336/.424/.692, including 9 home runs, 13 doubles, 6 triples, and 45 RBIs.

The Bismarck Larks’ 2025 season kicks off on May 26 against the Mankato Moondogs at ISG Field, with Opening Day at home on May 28 against the St. Cloud Rox at 7:05 PM!
