What: The Second Annual Flock Fest presented by Dakota Community Bank & Trust returns!

When: Friday, May 26 from 5PM to 7PM

Where: Bismarck Municipal Ballpark Home of Dakota Community Bank & Trust

Kick off Memorial Day Weekend and the start of the Larks baseball season with a free event for all to attend that includes FREE FOOD, FREE ACTIVITIES, and a SKILLS CHALLENGE featuring Larks players.

We’re setting up the CHI St. Alexius Family Fun Zone, the YMCA Speed Pitch and all the rest of our inflatables for all of the kids to enjoy.

Kids can also get their faces painted by Theo Art School.

Other fun activities include:

• Cornhole
• Wiffle Ball Home Run Derby
• Speed Pitch

The Bismarck State College Robotics Dog and Virtual Reality Station is also going to set up for fans to enjoy.

Local ND Beef Producers will be providing information about local beef.

Skills Challenge:

Let’s get competitive! Larks players and fans will compete in these Larks Skills Challenges:

• Fastest Around the Bases! Just like the NHL’s new speed skating competition and the Cooperstown Dreams Park’s “Road Runnner” event, we’re putting fans to the test! Compete against Larks players for the fastest time to sprint around the bases from home plate to home plate. The lowest time wins!
• Flashiest Play Challenge! Bring your gloves and flash that leather. The judges are going to decide who makes the best flyball catch, replicates the ‘Jeter throw’ the best and more. The best play wins!
• Home Run Showcase! The Larks power hitters are stepping up to the plate to see who can hit the farthest home run. Kids – bring your gloves! You can play the field and catch the fly balls that don’t make it over the fence.
• Dodgeball! We’re going to play the biggest game of dodgeball on the field. Fans and players compete with and against each other. To ensure safety, players will not be throwing their hardest – fan safety and player safety is priority #1.

Local Beef

We have local beef producers joining us for Flock Fest!

• Dakota Angus Beef will have brisket & burgers for sampling and products for sale straight from their freezer truck
• Full Flavor Farms will have their line of Snack Sticks, Wagyu products and their Meat CSA Program
• Feiring’s Grassfed Beef will have brochures on their products and samples at their truck
