What does the list look like?

You can’t miss the giant signs at Mandan Holiday Lights on Main that look like an actual script of names.

Merifeather’s Nice List shows every kid’s name that was submitted on the form below. Click to put a kid’s name on the sign.

Clark’s Naughty List is a list of all of his friends who were naughty this year like River the Rat, the Evil Queen, and Tate R. Tot. None of Bismarck-Mandan’s kids can be on Clark’s Naughty List this year.

Timeline

When is it open?

Parents can bring their kids to the Mandan Holiday Lights on Main and show them that they made Merifeather’s Nice list starting on Friday, November 24.

There will be a new Nice List hanging every week. Make sure your kids are signed up under a week that you can attend. Names must be submitted on time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, the Mandan Holiday Lights on Main is free and open to the public. Visitors can make free-will donations to keep the lights on through the Morton Mandan Community Fund.

No, there is zero cost to you to have your kid’s name on Merifeather’s Nice List. There is a deadline to submit names in order to meet printing schedules.

It is a first come-first serve basis – only 100 names will be accepted.

The larger-than-life, interactive displays will light up Dykshoorn Park beginning November 28 at 6pm with a lighting ceremony. The display will be active from 5-10pm each night through January 6.

The vibrant, immersive holiday space at the Mandan Holiday Lights is driven by the community’s desire for unique experiences and giving back to the community with perishable food drives and non-profit organization partnerships including: (1) Holiday Lights in the Pantry, (2) Adopt a Night at the Lights, (3) Christmas Trees of Charity.

The project that started in 2022 was funded with a $500,000 commitment from the City of Mandan’s Visitors Fund and a $100,000 commitment from the Mandan Progress Organization.
