About the Program

Calling All Bismarck-Mandan Artists!

This is your chance to have FUN, be creative and have your artwork exhibited at Dakota Community Bank and Trust Field. The Bismarck Larks are hosting an art contest for artists of all ages in the Bismarck-Mandan area. Nine winners will be chosen to be featured on the cover of the Bismarck Larks game day program.

How It Works

Content Specifics

Painters, drawers and graphic artists are encouraged to create artwork centered around one of the following prompts:

  • A collection of imagery showcasing what Bismarck Larks baseball means to you
  • Portraits of Clark the Lark, Merifeather Lewis or River the Rat
  • Bismarck Baseball History (Barrons, Rattlers, Satchel Paige, etc.)
  • Portraits of current and/or former Bismarck Larks players

Artwork must be 8.5 x 11in or larger (or an aspect ratio of 4:3) and cannot be folded or bent.

How It Works

Submitting Artwork

Artwork must be mailed or dropped off at the Bismarck Larks front office by noon on Monday, April 22. Please attach the identification form below to the back of your artwork.

Digital work can be submitted using the form below or sent via email to Bismarck Larks Creative Director, Kayla Rimer at kayla@larksbaseball.com. All digital artwork must be 300 dpi and in CMYK color space. Unsure what this means? Click here for more information.

How It Works

Prize

The nine winners will receive:

  • (2) tickets to Art at the Park Night on July 28th
  • The chance to showcase your artwork at the ballpark
  • A custom Bismarck Larks jersey
  • On-field recognition along with recognition of your creative work on the video board in left field
