Eau Claire, Wis. –September 17, 2013 – The Eau Claire Express front office announced today the hiring of Michael Borden to the full-time staff as the Director of Ticket Sales. Michael has spent the past two summers on the Express staff, first as a marketing intern before rejoining the team in January of this year on a part-time basis overseeing ticket sales and marketing.

In his new role, Michael will oversee all ticket operations for the Express along with assisting in corporate and group sales. In addition, he will manage the game-day operations and internship program.

"We are excited to be able to add Michael to our full-time staff," stated Express General Manager Andy Neborak. "He has been a big part of what we have done the past two years and we look forward to utilizing his energy and ideas moving forward."

Michael began his time with the Express as a marketing intern with a focus on merchandise, youth baseball outings and managing the Trax Kids Club. His second year included assisting in hiring of intern staff, group sales, oversight of the Glitnir Ticketing System, supervision of the intern staff, selection of all merchandise and management of game-day operations.

The Holmen, Wis. native graduated from UW-Eau Claire this past spring with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.
