The St. Cloud Rox announce that beginning with the 2026 season, all Rox home games at Joe Faber Field will transition to a fully cashless payment system. The change is part of the organization’s ongoing effort to enhance the game-day experience for fans attending games at the ballpark.

By moving to a cashless model, the Rox will join a growing number of teams in the Northwoods League, as well as many businesses throughout Central Minnesota, that have adopted contactless payment systems. The new system is designed to streamline transactions at the ticket booth, concessions and merchandise stands, reduce wait times and provide a more efficient and secure purchasing experience for fans.

Key Details of the Cashless Implementation

• Payment Methods: All purchases at concessions, ticket booth (blue will call booth located at the doors of Joe Faber Field on game days) and merchandise stands will require debit/credit cards or other contactless payment options, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.

• Enhanced Efficiency: The transition to a cashless system is expected to significantly reduce lines at concession and merchandise locations, allowing fans to spend less time waiting and more time enjoying the game.

• Enhanced Fan Security: The Rox have implemented an upgraded point-of-sale (POS) system throughout the ballpark and added an additional firewall to further protect fans’ private payment information.

• Exceptions: Cash payments will be accepted during the “Day Game” of the double header on July 23, 2026. Cash payments will also be accepted for tickets purchased in advance from the Rox office located in the MAC.
