WATERLOO- The Waterloo Bucks fell to the hot bats of the Eau Claire Express Tuesday night, losing 11-1, in their first of a six game road trip.

Taking the mound for the first time since his shut out last week, right-handed pitcher Chris Pack started the game, but he wasn’t enough to cool the Express’s bats early in the match-up. The Express gained an early lead, scoring the majority of their runs in the first few innings.

Trailing by seven in the third, outfielder Jason Krizan got the Bucks’ bats going hitting a single, followed by All-Star selection Michael Giller’s hit who advanced Krizan to third. Designated hitter Pat Stover brought in the Krizan to score the Bucks’ only run of the night.

The Bucks stay in Eau Claire Wednesday night for a 6:35 game. The Bucks remain on the road until Saturday July 25 when they will face the Madison Mallards.
