What league do the Bucks play in?
The Waterloo Bucks compete in the Northwoods League, a premier wood-bat league founded in 1994 where top college players play during the summer. Notable NWL alumni include Max Scherzer, Curtis Granderson, Pete Alonso, and Chris Sale.
Where do the Bucks play?
Our home field is Riverfront Stadium in Waterloo, Iowa. Bucks team ownership has invested nearly $500,000 in stadium improvements over the last decade including an LED video board, group outing areas, painted bleachers, public Wi-Fi, sound system, kids zone inflatables, wiffle ball field, and concessions equipment.
Where do I park on gamedays?
We offer free parking right next to the ballpark, plus a smaller lot across Park Road. Both lots can be accessed from Park Road.
How much do tickets cost?
We’re dedicated to keeping games affordable. Tickets & pricing may be found here.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted, but we offer a wide variety of affordable concessions inside the ballpark.
Do you sell alcohol?
Yes! We serve beer and seltzers!
Is the venue handicap accessible?
We have wheelchair-accessible seating areas above each dugout. Please contact an usher when you arrive for a game for further accommodations and companion chairs.
When does the season start?
The season typically begins on or around Memorial Day and runs through mid-August. We play 72 games total, including 36 at home — plenty of baseball action all summer long!
Can I watch the games on TV or online?
Every Bucks game is streamed live through FloCollege
What happens in the event of a rainout?
In the event of bad weather, the best place to check for updates is on the Bucks’ social media pages. If a game is cancelled or postponed, we’ll post immediately with reschedule details and ticket redemption instructions. See our rainout policy here.
What can be brought into the stadium?
No food or beverages can be brought into the ballpark. Other items NOT allowed in the ballpark are:
- Coolers
- Roller skates
- Rollerblades
- Skateboards
