Waterloo, IA – A strong pitching performance by Wisconsin’s (14-15 second half, 26-36 overall) Kyle Gumieny (Southeast Missouri State) propelled the Woodchucks past the Bucks (14-17 second half, 24-39 overall) 9-0 in the regular season finale at Riverfront Stadium.
 
Gumieny struck out eight and allowed seven hits over a complete game shutout. The Bucks were led at the plate by catcher Josh Lyon (Indiana) who turned in a 2-for-4 effort with five other Bucks players added a hit apiece.
 
The Bucks hit the road for the final four games of the season. They head to La Crosse on Friday and Saturday followed by the Bucks fan bus on Saturday. The team will conclude their season with the final series in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on Sunday and Monday.
