La Crosse, WI – The Loggers strong start on Friday night in La Crosse proved to be too much for the visiting Bucks as the Loggers took the 8-3 victory. Starting pitcher C.J. Rose (Jefferson CC) allowed seven runs, three of which were earned, off just four hits in four and one-third innings of work.

Despite outhitting the Loggers, the Bucks were unable to capitalize on key opportunities, leaving ten runners on base. The Blue and Gold were led by catcher Josh Lyon and outfielder Pat Stover who turned in a pair of hits each.

The Bucks finish their series in La Crosse tonight at 6:05 before they travel to Eau Claire for the final two games of the season. You can tune in to 92.3 FM for play-by-play or check out the webcast at waterloobucks.com.
