Waterloo, IA-The Waterloo Bucks, members of the Northwoods League, have announced that Riverfront Stadium will host two high school baseball tournaments in the upcoming months, the Waterloo Bucks Baseball Pre-Season Classic and the Riverfront Stadium Diamond Tournament.

The Pre-Season Classic will be held on Friday, May 28 featuring Denver, St. Ansgar, Iowa Mennonite, and St. Edmond high schools. The Denver versus St. Ansgar game kicks off the day at 2:00 P.M. The second game features Iowa Mennonite and St. Edmond starting at 4:00 P.M. The consolation game follows at 6:00 P.M. and the tournament comes to a close with the championship game at 8:00 P.M.

The Diamond Tournament will be held on Friday, June 25 and will be featuring four high school teams: Postville, BCLUW, MFL-MarMac, and Starmont. The first contest of the day pits Postville versus BCLUW at 11:30 A.M. MFL-MarMac plays Starmont in the second game at 2:00 P.M. The consolation game follows at 4:30 P.M. and the championship game wraps up the day at 7:00 P.M.

Game 1: Denver vs. St. Ansgar @ 2:00 P.M.

 Game 2: Iowan Mennonite vs. St. Edmond @ 4:00 P.M.                               

Game 3: Consolation @ 6:00 P.M.

Game 4: Championship @ 8:00 P.M.

Game 1: Postville vs. BCLUW @ 11:30 A.M.

Game 2: MFL-MarMac vs. Starmont @ 2:00 P.M.               

Game 3: Consolation @ 4:30 P.M.

Game 4: Championship @ 7:00 P.M.

All-Day tournament admission prices will be: Adults $6, youth (17 & under) $5. Ages five and under may enter free of cost. Season Passes distributed by schools will not be honored.

The Bucks will open the 2010 season at home on Wednesday, June 2 at 6:35 P.M. versus Wisconsin Rapids. Season tickets and single-game tickets are currently on sale. Fans are encouraged to stay in touch with the Bucks in the off-season by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com.
