The Bucks took a 7-4 loss against the Rafters at tonights game.  Bats rattled at the plate but not enough to claim victory.

2B Tyler Robbins (pictured) lead the Bucks at the plate batting three-for-four, pounding out three of the nine hits for the Bucks. 1B Phil Keppler, going two-for-four at the plate, sent one sailing to right field in the bottom of the eighth earning his first triple of the season.  CF Landon Anderson also had two hits.  RF Nick Anderson earned a double and C Jonathan Crist recorded a single.

Corey Witkowski recieved the loss tonight after pitching six innings, giving up nine hits and seven runs.  Witkowski walked two and struck out six leaving him with a 5.14 ERA.  Relief pitcher Steven Richardson pitched three innings this evening allowing one hit, striking out two.  Richardson’s currently sits at a 4.26 ERA.

The Bucks struggled in the field recording four errors.

Rafters Jesse Arreola was credited with the win tonight after throwing three innings, giving up three hits, walking one and striking out five.

Sunday, July 11th the Bucks are home again in the final contest against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.  First pitch is scheduled for 3:05 P.M., gates will open at 2:00 P.M.
