Battle Creek, MI – During the second game of a two game series on the road, the Waterloo Bucks (0-2) were again unable to defeat the Battle Creek Bombers (2-0) losing the game 4-3.

Although the Waterloo Bucks only lost the game by one, they were out hit by the Bombers 9-5. Offensively, IF Drew Walsh (Long Island University) had an important role in the game. He had two hits which he managed to turn them both into runs.

LHP Chris Dunn (0-1) of Viterbo University started the game as picther. and was releived during inning five by RHP Derek Lamacchia of Quinnipiac University. Lamacchia struck out two batters and had only one hit preventing the Bombers from climbing further ahead.

The Bucks will hope to turn it around when they play Battle Creek on Friday. This will be the final game of a three game series against the Bombers. Their home opener will take place on June 4 at the rennovated RIverfront Stadium vs. the Eau Claire Express. The game begins at 6:35 PM with gates opening at 5:00 PM. After a defeat on the road, the Bucks will look to get the season on track by defeating the Express at home.
