Battle Creek, MI – The Waterloo Bucks (1-2) were able to come back and defeat the Battle Creek Bombers (2-1) in the last of a three game series. This is the Bucks first win of the season and sets them up to return home to the renovated Riverfront Stadium for the home opener.

Jeremy Hill, 1B/OF, from Nicholls St. and Jordan Adams, C/1B, from Central Michigan University both stood out offensively with two hits each that they turned into runs.

Defensively, the Waterloo Bucks also performed. Starting pitcher Mike Wisencarver also from Nicholls St. pitched five innings with only three hits and four strikeouts. He was relieved in the sixth by Michael Boyle (Texas A&M- Corpus Christi) who, in turn, was relieved by Kyle Kramp (Butler). Derek Lamacchia (Quinnipiac University) finished out the game with three strikeouts in just one inning.

The Bucks will hope to continue their win at their home opener. It will take place on June 4 at the renovated Riverfront Stadium vs. the Eau Claire Express. It will be the first of a three game series at home for the Bucks vs. Eau Claire. The game begins at 6:35 PM with gates opening at 5:00 PM. Hope to see you at
