Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, have announced that pitcher Mike Wisecarver has been named the Young Plumbing & Heating Bucks Player of the Week. Wisecarver, a junior from Nicholls State University, has a 1.99 earned run average so far this season with Waterloo.

A native of Kenner, Louisianna, Wisecarver pitched six innings in the past week with 0.00 earned run average and nine strikeouts.

The Bucks next home game is Wednesday, June 29 at 1:05. Gates open at 12:00 pm. This game will kick off a three-game homestand versus the Wisconsin Woodchucks.
