Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, have announced that Cameron Perkins has been named the Young Plumbing & Heating Bucks Player of the Week. Perkins, a sophomore from Purdue, has a 3.10 average, 39 hits, and 15 runs batted in so far this season with Waterloo.

A native of Indianapolis, Indiana Perkins had a .370 average and ten hits in the past week with the Bucks. Of those ten hits, three were doubles and two were home runs. In addition, this week Perkins was named the Northwoods League’s player of the day on July, 1.

The Bucks next home game is today, Monday, July 4 at 4:05 pm. Gates open at 3:00 pm. This game will kick off a three-game homestand versus the La Crosse Loggers.
