Dan spent two seasons with the Bucks in 2006 and 2007.  He appeared in 125 innings in 33 games.  His stats were pretty solid with a 6-7 record, 2.58 ERA, 99 strikeouts, and 51 walks.  In the years since playing for the Bucks, Dan had ranked up in the minors pretty fast.  He was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 9th round (268th overall) of the 2008 Amateur Draft.

In his stats during the minors, he had shown the Marlins that he is good enough to be called up to the 40 man roster during this year’s offseason. He had an 11-12 record, with a 3.36 ERA, 231 strikeouts, and 98 walks in 230 innings pitched. He spent most of his time with the Jacksonville Suns (AA) and the New Orleans Zephyrs (AAA) before getting the call up to the show.

Look for Dan Jennings this season as he buttons up the new Miami Marlins uniform and takes the field for the first time as a Major Leaguer.  We wish him the best here at the Bucks and all of Waterloo.
